Effective Protesting...

Long Beach, my kinda Folks

I grew up in Long Beach, CA before the sister ports of LA/LB became a global contender of international trade on the US West Coast. An imbalance of rouge authority lead to critical mass in the late 1980s early 1990s. The results were social & cultural change by two generations that had the grit and tenacity to stand up and do something about it. A lawsuit from a small unlikely group of Polynesians that rippled changed throughout LA county, before the Rodney King beatdown. Change was inevitable.
